Long bed camper in a 6' truck bed ?
I am thinking of trading trucks, but I am thinking I would like a short bed or a 6' bed Truck. I have a Lance 1030 and would like to know if any is putting there long bed camper in a 6' bed truck. And...

Doesn't seem like a good idea. I had a long bed 8' pop-up in a short bed Dodge for a year. I left the tailgate down and the camper didn't quite reach the end so it was fully supported. Even so, it put me over on the rear axle weight.
You're camper, being 10' or more in length, probably be worse. Your rear tie down point will be well behind the attachment point location necessitating modifications.
I'd keep the long bed truck. For my use a long bed isn't even big enough. Or, get a short bed camper like a Lance 830.
