Long bed camper in a 6' truck bed ?

That Lance 1030 is a heavy mother. I put a used one in my 2011 2500hd long bed and felt like it was out of my league. I have seen plenty of long bed campers in short bed trucks. You can do it, but it will not handle well. Many Northstar and Adventurers are designed for long and short beds. That 1030 is not. A short low speed trip maybe.
I prefer the look of a HD shortbed over the long, but the long bed is more useful IMO.
