My F350 crew cab long bed is longer than almost all spaces in most all parking lots. Especially so if I have my hitch installed. I don’t want the rear (or front) extending out in the aisle for someone driving thru without paying attention and hit me. So I either find two spaces end to end where I can pull thru leaving the rear overlapping the space behind. Or find a space along a curb I can back into with the long rear hanging over the curb and getting the front end out of the aisle. Both almost always mean parking a little farther out on the lot.
