I just remembered the Chevy/Gmc Longhorn from early 70,s that had a 10 ft bed for cab over campers.

After two Std Cab RAMs the Crew cab is nice. So I will take the short bed for ease of parking.

Marty.. I'm used to long trucks. I used to drive (before I retired) a long nose Western Star double bunk with a 48 foot curtainside flat bed trailer and....yes, I could parallel park it too. A requirement for an instructors license.

I almost always park on the top floor of parking garages. They are usually mostly empty up there.

I have no issues with either of my long beds parking.
My 2000 c2500 is all of 16-17' long. IE rev cab 8' box.
My rev cab navigate, has a 14' bed, 188" an! 24' long. Easier to maneuver than my 96 sw k3500, or my 2005 dw 3500 crew cab rigs with 8' boxes.
