You'll never regret getting more truck over a half ton. Or very few do, anyway. Current model HD trucks are plenty comfortable for use as daily drivers and family vehicles. And they tow and haul so much better it isn't even funny. Of course, everybody draws that line somewhere or we'd all be driving around semis.
