I got the 6.0 in my 09 GMC. It will be a great truck for many years to come for you. I use it sometimes as a DD but also use the Camry or the 69 truck to drive, regardless I don't mind using the 3/4 ton as a DD. Great ride, although the 16 model will ride much better then my 09. The drivetrain is just bullet proof, requires very little upkeep, and provides great service. A 4x4 option is great if you can get one, I know I live just south of High Springs and if your ever out camping in some areas, the sugar sand will get you stuck.. Keep us in the loop, enjoy truck shopping.
