Also check out the 250TRS. The Aerolites are also quite nice and have the same arched roof in their larger trailers. For space, the Outback Terrain models are difficult to beat at the 25-27 foot range.

My wife and I just recently purchased our first TT. We bought a Crossroads Zinger and the ceiling height is 7" they come in various sizes. This could be an option.

My Dutchmen Aerolite 282DBHS has an interior height of 6'10" at the center, and probably around 6'6" at the outer walls. It has a curved ceiling that is higher in the center.



On the whole, we've been very happy with it so far.

R vision 24BH. It has a queen walk around, you can put a queen reg mattress in because there is no wall. Bunk beds. Our friends are looking at this one. He is 6'5"".

My hubby is 6'3"" and we bought a new trailer in 2012. Watch for other issues with height. Make sure the shower has a sky light or hubby will not fit. Sit on the toilet and close the door, you will be surprised in some.

I just looked at the Outback website and did not see the model above list so you might have look for used. The Outback and the Premier Bullet lines have the rounded higher ceilings. Unfortunately you need to get a longer one to have bunks. Premier is light weight but there is plenty of space, large slides, the high ceiling etc., nice unit.

We liked the Outback 210rs. Nice big bed in a slide and bunks in the front. The ceiling height seemed roomy.

Pretty easy to get 81" interior height and most showers have a domed skylight above so that helps with showering in a conventional TT. My Jayco Jayflights meet this...the eagles are even taller on the interior. The bed is going to be a much bigger challenge, RV queens are 60"x75" opposed to the standard 60x80.

Consider the Jayco Sport 165. It has bunks and lower one allows you to hang your feet over end.

The height in trailer is standard and I'm not sure what that figure is. It may be tight for 6'7"

I'm only 6'3" and the only "RV" I have any actual head room is in larger size 5th wheels or Class A motorhomes.. The 5th wheels I have room in would not be towable with a "1/2 ton" truck... ;)

RV "queen size beds" are usually shorter than normal queen size beds you find for your home, so be prepared for that too... My feet hang off the end of my "RV queen size bed"... But, I'm used to it and it's not a big deal for me..

Since your hubby has been this tall for a long time, I'm sure he's used to having to adjust to lower height stuff, so it's just going to have to continue in an RV too... :)
