Looking for solutions

I have a 4 month old travel trailer that has a hard lump under the linoleum. We are unsure how to proceed to fix the problem. Dealership wants to slice the floor and patch it...not sure if this is the best solution...any ideas?
  • 4 months old...under warranty...then they should replace the whole floor. I'm assuming that when they installed the floor, there was debris left on the floor which is causing the lump. If so, why should you have to have a patched floor with seams that are possible problems down the road and after your warranty expires? You may want to talk to a manufacturer rep and see what they say. But, if it were me, I'd really push for a new floor...or at least for a larger area i.e. one "room" where the defect is located.
