Low pressure, low flame in my Weber BBQ?

My TT came with a quick connect for a propane BBQ. I hooked it up to my small square Weber instead of he green can type. With the dial on HIGH I get very little flame and it goes out constantly. Is there a way for ne to remove the regulated on the BBQ?

Very good info in the links posted above and I would explore that aspect.

I converted my Weber by removing the regulator and have had zero problems and the grill gets plenty hot. Here's how I did mine to run of the quick connect hose on our new Rockwood:

  • If the Weber has a regulator on it, you need to remove and come up with the right fittings so the hose will connect directly to the BBQ. That's what we've done and it works great. Two regulators in series don't work that well.
