I converted my Weber by removing the regulator and have had zero problems and the grill gets plenty hot. Here's how I did mine to run of the quick connect hose on our new Rockwood:

- myredracerExplorer IIIf the Weber has a regulator on it, you need to remove and come up with the right fittings so the hose will connect directly to the BBQ. That's what we've done and it works great. Two regulators in series don't work that well.
