That may be happening within the pickup line. Once you get to the chassis cabs, they run a different tune on the engine to allow longer duty cycles at full output. Look at 6.7 specifications on Powerstroke and Cummins diesels in the pickups and then look at them on the chassis cabs - They did not derate these engines due to noise or EPA. I posted Hemi numbers before when the same engine is used for different platforms - You cannot tell me that all the engines were tuned the same and the measurements were taken differently for each one.
