Ahh, but now the next question what is the proper torque? The sticker on my TT door says to check them but, not how tight to get them. It depends on the size of the lug bolt and because they put different size axels on different size TT they don't include the torque number on the sticker. And, there is a proper sequence to doing it too.
I know my arm and wrench is pretty accurate up to about 100 psi, above that or for very critical fasteners I break out the torque wrench.
With the older steel wheels a guy could just use a cheater pipe and reef the lugs down tight. With the newer aluminum rims, it's better to be accurate.
