This has been an interesting thread, but seems like a lot of back and forth for what should be a routine part of getting out of the driveway and back home safely, with essentially no money spent, not more than 5 - 10 minutes of time and the peace of mind that the chances are pretty darned slim that your wheel is going in another direction. Just make one round of the TT to check the pressure per what the manufacturer says, then make another round with the torque wrench and be done with it. Finished. Safe. Have a great trip!
