It has started to dawn on me that when manufacturers say a camper is 'made for 1/2 tons' what they mean is that it will physically fit in the truck bed....not that it will be within your payload capac...

The same logic could apply to the "biggest&baddest" 5500/550 type camper on a 500/50 series truck - it may FIT on the bed but I honestly don't think anyone here or elsewhere is complaining about "dimensions" are we?
