A F-350 is the lightest truck that I would want to carry a slide in camper.
That said, some of the F=150's with heavy duty cargo rating, 7,800 GVWR, a lighter engine (such as the 2.7L Ecoboost) and aluminum body, then your cargo rating can be 2,500 - 2,600 pounds..
That will limit you to only a few slide in campers. . . I prefer my camper with a wet bath, refrigerator, closet, furnace, and stove that has a oven.
I have heard of European campers that fit on the Ranger! It has a much lower GVWR.
