Made for your half ton truck ;-)
It has started to dawn on me that when manufacturers say a camper is 'made for 1/2 tons' what they mean is that it will physically fit in the truck bed....not that it will be within your payload capac...

If you overload a 1/2 ton, even if you have tricked it up some and it handles OK, it's still way more wear on the truck. And it may be that you need to try that camper on a heavier truck to appreciate how much difference it makes.
