It has started to dawn on me that when manufacturers say a camper is 'made for 1/2 tons' what they mean is that it will physically fit in the truck bed....not that it will be within your payload capac...

I'm not saying accidents can't happen but my Northstar Laredo handles really well on my F-250. And I'm not one to drive extremely slow either.I also have stock suspension with a two inch lift. the truck did come with a camper package though.
These Global Pickups have no problems, but I would very concerned about US 1/2 Tons, they are not built for heavy weights
