It has started to dawn on me that when manufacturers say a camper is 'made for 1/2 tons' what they mean is that it will physically fit in the truck bed....not that it will be within your payload capac...

What makes no sense is to continue to speak of 1/2, 3/4, and one ton trucks, as 150/1500, 250/2500, and 3,500. Look to the specifications not some arbitrary, often market driven badge.
