main seal is degrading.

I used a combination of alcohol and i think it was goof-off. What ever removes the old stickiness and dirt.

Thank you! What do they recommend using as a cleaner? I like mineral spirits myself, but some manufacturers prefer an alcohol.

Just replaced the D seal on my rear bunk opening. Hardest part was removing the old adhesive. I used a narow chisel, and small putty knife, and some acetone and rags to remove it. Took about 45 minutes to get a good clean surface for the new seal. Be careful when scraping close to that tent material, you don;t want to slip and end up with a not-so-nice tear!

As far as maintenance and mods go this is small time. Should be very straight forward for you to do.

Having done some research, I now know this is 3/4" × 3/4" smooth face D-seal with adhesive.

It will be fun doing this job....

Hmmmm, thats really just stuck on? Mines fairly well flat and starting to show some age (2003 Kodiak) and I thought about replacing it. I need to do that and have the front track that secures to the trailer sew on (guy I bought it from had rear done and gave me one for the front).

It also feels like the bunk fabric could have been mad an inch longer as its very tight over the velcro

That looks exactly like the seals on my 2006 model year, in fact your tent end looks the same, I have a KZ Coyote.

I have emails the folks at Uni-Grip and it appears like they have a similar replacement, though it appears it may not be available in white, but I think black would create an OK looking accent.

Seems to me that the old needs to be pealed off, probably clean up the old glue residue and install new sticky backed seal.

My bunk ends are curved at the top (end) and that would be the only potentially tricky part to install.

Currently working on redoing the caulking on all the vertical seams, which have also deteriorated.

If you can't get it locally, seals are available online.

I just found out it's a 3/4" D-seal with adhesive, and my local place will sell it to me for about 2 bucks a foot.
