Any newer diesel with emissions is going to cost you money when parts break. It's more complicated and requires specialty tools and knowledge that only a few have. Fuel issues can occur with any new diesel regardless of manufacturers. It's always a gamble, research online and filter through the fake stuff or cheesy complaints that you may see. A lot of times it's the owners neglect or overabuse of the engine that leads to its downfall. On the other side, if you treat your new truck well, watch where you get diesel fuel from, and service the filters more frequently then you should have better luck then some.
