I don't own a Mammoth or a TC right now but with the research I have done you don't need a 450/4500 or a 550/5500 to haul a Mammoth. 3500 dually will do it if you are not towing heavy.
I have read on YouTube comments that Host told a guy he needs the jacks down to support the walls before you open the slides. I don't believe this but I don't own one so I can't really say you need too put the jacks down before you open the slides.
I have thought about going fulltime later in life but wife needs room. I would not want to put the jacks down every time I have to open a slide. Like stopping at wally to buy food and need to put in the fridge. If this is true I will stay away from a TC with slides.
