manual diesel knock off F150

linc

Would you be tempted?

$16,000 diesel with a manual tranny?

even if it is from china?
  • It doesn't seem that long ago when Subaru and Kia were cheap junky cars.

I don't think we'll be seeing these Chinese trucks in the USA anytime soon.
However, if they were imported, Americans would buy them.
    Remember the Yugo cars? :E

    Me too...
  • Anyone considering a Chinese vehicle should youtube some Chinese car crash test videos. Disturbing.
  • I think people in some areas of the US will buy them and tout how great they are because they are cheap, not US made, and a diesel. Even though parts would be hard to come by.

While people do that, I'll just keep on driving American make vehicles.
  • While I loathe nearly everything "Chinese", I wasn't impressed with Japanese cars either back in the 70's. Can they make something that will sell and stay together more than 6 months? Time will tell, but it sure 'aint tires!
  • No more expensive repairs! If you accidentally put DEF into the fuel tank, you just throw the truck into the dumpster! I bet Harbor Freight is already negotiating for the rights to sell these.
  • Weak..really weak.
Grocery getter with an open bed.
    Probably be available at Toys-R-Us.
