Mapping programs and Garmin RV770

You guys are selling the RV760 a bit short. I have had one for a few years now and have not had an major issues. I particularly like the integrated BC-20 wireless camera.
The GPS is only as smart as the operator, shortest distance setting includes dirt roads for this reason I never use shortest distance setting.
As always never trust any GPS 100%. Always verify with a 2nd source.

X2-- I have the same Garmin RV760 and a total waste of money. nice big screen but no brain! Has taken us down dirt farm roads and cow paths because shortest distance. Doesn't matter what you programmed as far as RV size. And virtually every road off Interstates are "RV accessibility unknown" Was very disappointed Garmin would issue a ripoff GPS! Would not buy Garmin again!

You can also lay out a route in Garmin BaseCamp & download it to the 770.

Yes trip wizard data can be downloaded to Garmin - I have done it often

If Trip Wizard can output waypoints in a standard format, you can load that into Garmin Basecamp. Then use Basecamp to upload a route or just waypoints to your device.

Garmin Basecamp is a free program. It's kinda difficult to use but powerful.

Call Garmin and ask for the tech support who can answer your question. The 770 Garmin's 7 inch screen and voice command is great:)
