Marathons, what to replace with

My trailer tires are st175/80r/13 , load rated C, made by Goodyear/marathons. They appear to be in fine shape but they are old enough that I want to replace them with new tires. It appears Goodyear doesn’t make these and the new endurance are not made in this size.

Any suggestions on another brand? I would like to use my existing rims instead of buying new tires and rims. Also, I don’t have any spare room for a larger tire.

I know Tire topics get old, I’ve dont some searches but my size is less popular so less info on the forums.

It would seem you didn't read the OP's post. :R

  • MFL, I’m running Providers, 14 inch, LR D. So far...4000 miles...so good.
  • Our TT came with the same size tires. Adding up the capacity of all 4 tires came to 100 lbs below the tt GVWR.
I switched (after a couple flats ) to Maxxis 8008. I went to the next size up, I think it was 185/13 and it increased my safety margin by about 600 lbs. They only offer 2 sizes in 13". Have about 5000 miles on them and so far so good.
  • Go to e-trailer, take a look at Provider tires. They are new style, cooler running, with a higher speed rating. They have a good rep, and been in use since around 2010.
