I do it in front of my house when I have disconnected from the tow vehicle and am maneuvering using the electric dolly we have. As soon as I am in the yard, I remove the wire that is shorting 3 & 4 on the pigtail, unless it's night time - then it helps me see where to miss the trees, shrubs, fence, etc.
