I consider it the same as excess noise at night, the intrusive light is no different.

When you camp with other people you will have to adjust to different things. not all people want it pitch black! you have to pick and choose what to tolerate and what you don`t. a light left on is not worth bothering someone for. now a radio left on or too loud after quiet hours that is different. everyone has different ideas of what to expect.
