Difference being YOU wanted to escelate your hatred of lights to the point of a pysical confrontation. Your resposibility in this matter is to leave others alone while they camp as they choose.
I hardly feel that requesting someone turn off their lights late at night is a physical confrontation. People are free to tell me to go to hell, and there is nothing much I can do about it. I still do not feel it is unreasonable to ask people to be more respectful of others.
