Matagorda Beach Texas
Just wondering if any of ya'll have any experience with the Texas Matagorda beach area. They do allow overnight camping, but just wondering about the softness of the sand etc?

I tent camped at the old Brown Cedar cut about 30 years ago. Accessed by 4x4. Wade fished. Didn't catch anything. Waist deep in the bay about a mile out and had a snake visit. Almost walked on water.
