mattress moisture barrier

DEFINITELY! (I changed out my OEM mattress to a latex mattress duplicating home) Hypervent from Fisheries Supply. Purchase by the foot (queen mattress will require two strips - therefore buy 2x length of mattress). I also use it on home bed, as I was starting to see mildew on mattress surface against plywood bed board.

X2 on Hypervent, it made a world of difference. Expensive, but money well spent.

X3 - worked really well in our truck camper. Never found the need for it with our Class A or B+ though.

A similar material is available at building supply stores for the exterior of concrete foundation walls to control water intrusion/pressure, and might be cheaper.

that looks like the stuff I used, only the person I got it from said they put it over plywood before putting stucco on.

Never have and never had a problem. Maybe I don't have a problem because I have a standard RV mattress with a foam topper, not a foam mattress. That or it's because I always have a vent and window cracked so almost never have condensation on my windows.

I just read about the problem, and my enkadrain cost me $20.00 so I used it.
I also put a layer of that silver reflective isolation under the enkadrain

Few years back I used Drymesh. Similar to Hypervent but cannot find a U.S. Distributor anymore. Now use the pink or blue 4x8 foam board sold at Lowes or Home depot. Works and a lot cheaper than Hypervent.
