No not interesting at all if you consider who put on the test and who printed/posted the test. I will say that any manufacture that supplies the vehicles is going to demand that their vehicle is front and center.

So no spin there Troy?!
Good points... I was wondering if anyone else would notice the different trailers with fairly different front covers to boot.

Here's some more testing of the HD trucks now including the Chevy.

Someone is lying about the numbers BIG time. Either that or Fords tranny is gobbling up power faster than Joey Chestnut can eat a hotdog. That can't be true either because Fords mileage numbers are very good.
Another thing; why have two different types of trailers? At these speeds aerodynamics are HUGE. Why not all the same?
It would be fun to put these trucks on the rollers and see who is lying about power numbers.

Without IDENTICAL trailers, or even the same trailer, THIS TEST IS WORTHLESS!
Just a SLIGHT change is aero on a trailer will make several mph change at speed, requiring a LOT more HP to pull at speed. - UsualSuspectExplorerLooks like GM has won, an 06 holds the Guiness Record for fastest towing speed. LINKY to Video:B
- ksssExplorerThe performance of the Duramax continues to impress. Coming in at 100 less foot pounds and 50 less hp and it more than held its own.

Where are the heavy duty trucks? I only see light duty DOT class 3 trucks, no heavy duty over 55K gvwr tandem rear axel trucks. Anything under 13500 gvwr is a light duty truck. 13501-33K is a medium duty, next up is a tandem, most of those are 50-55K and over!

I suppose it's all relative... Again I stand by my statement to forget that little plastic label on the side of the truck.- blt2skiModerator

Since you mentioned it.
I was at a RAM/Cummins rally in Vegas in 2012. My 350/800 RAM hit 304 on the Dyno that means I only lost 13% of advertised HP. The BD 2012 Ford hit about 375 with a 50 hp tuner so that puts Ford at what the typical loss is from the advertised 400hp to rear wheel Dyno. - Perrysburg_DodgExplorerThank's pickupjoke.com for proving my point! From their article "To conduct this test we took each identically setup one-ton HD pickup (the 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 Duramax, the 2014 Ram 3500 HD Cummins and the 2015 Ford F-350 Power Stroke)" for this to be true you would have to be using the same RV's and your not!
Funny how at mile marker 137.5 they are dead even, then at 136.5 the Ford is one MPH faster and then the GM and 8 MPH faster then the Ram. But at 135.0 the Ford drops 15 MPH and is slower then the Ram and that's the last of that chart! What a joke and proves my assertion that all they are is a rag for Ford.
So what did we learn boys and girls....if you wahnt the fastest truck buy the GMC/Chevy if you want the slowest truck buy the Ford! LOL
Spin it you Mr. No spin zone.
