MaxxAir vent cover install question
When installing the covers do you have to scrape all the sealant off, install then reseal or do you just install over the sealant?

- yeah I saw the video and they make it pretty easy but there was no mention of the sealant so I thought I would ask.
- Here's an installation video from the Maxxair website. I installed a few of the maxxair 2 covers and there is no need to disturb vent sealent. One of my favorite mods.

yep, use the 4 L brackets bolted to the vent sides.

- I installed over the sealant. Been on 3 years, no problems. They're great.
