We needed a place to Park at the trauma center in Tulep, Miss... they had a parking garage.
There was a medical supply business accross the street I asked and recieved permission to park in a corner of their parking lot. I may have been closer to the area of the hospital than I would have been if I could have fir into the garage.
Being polite and approaching with a smile does a long way.
Never approach the obvious grouch if you can avoid it... they are just looking for someone to take their misery out on.
