At my company I have 8 of the International 4700 Lo Pro type trucks you are talking about. Years range from 89' to 2004. My experience these trucks last and run forever with a little maintenance. Overall, they all have been great built to last trucks. The 1994 has 364,000 miles and going strong driven daily. These trucks will all pull well over 10,000 pounds, but wont get there in a hurry. Most of them we have are geared low and will pull whatever I put behind them. In my experience, these trucks are built very tough, as they are not "falling apart" even with over 300,000 miles on them. Great choice, you will be happy if you go with a International 4700 as your tow vehicle.
