As far as one ton goes, MANY of the newest 35 badged trucks, including the newest rendition by Dodge, fall into the DOT class 4 truck catagory, so many are not what I would call a one ton, but a ld mdt in the class 4 range. The badging and what one calls a rig is as noted by some, not very appropriate!

Agree with you Marty, thus the reason I was putting some numbers out there...The 2010, 11's and up to 13 and 14 model 3500 Dually's aren't the same truck they were pre-2010..
If my truck was being "pushed around" by my 5er, I either don't have "enough truck", or the brakes on my 5er aren't up to snuff, OR the brake controller isn't set up correctly...
