Yes a reg cab even today in a dually form could weigh 6000 lbs. Now if you want to disCUSS crew cabs, 4wd with a diesel......my 05 is 7300 per the door sticker, and from weighing it. My 96 CC sw with a 6.5td was 6800, the 88 ext cab with a 454 was barely 6000 lbs with me in it. Truck wts can vary!

Wasn't thinking that far back Marty, and you are correct...I "automatically" thought crew cab, long bed, 4X4, diesel, and "thinking", newer trucks...see what happens when one "assumes"..my bad:)
