Mega great??

I've put ~ 180,000 on my 2006 Mega cab Had many combos of kids/adults stuck back there. They all love it. Even my 100lb lab loves it.

So why is this not the best cab setup??

Except for parking lots.

  • We love ours too. I have no idea what everyone is talking about with issues with parking because they are shorter than a crew cab long box.:h I also like the fact ours is a dually because it is unique. I do have a slider hitch but find clearance with our current fiver is a non issue due to the design of the front cap.

In addition to needing a slider (or auto-slider, if you're forgetful) the bed doesn't leave a lot of room for a fuel tank, unless you want to use everything forward of the slider...

If I ever switched to Ram, I'd have to get the crew cab. Long bed is just too important to me.

  • I loved mine also, but you're right, parking sucks. Oh, and U turns. I couldn't U turn with 3 lanes to turn into without jumping the curb.
  • What's the problem, is it similar to driving an aircraft carrier in parking lots?
  • Love mine wouldn't have anything else after owning one
  • Exactly. We have taken our Mega many places. Always plan on parking away from the door.
