I remember seeing something like this on a HDT forum a few years back. A guy converted a 53 ft trailer into a awesome 5th wheel. Since tow vehicle capacity wasn't an issue, he used residential furnishings throughout. His costs were pretty low, about the cost of a new trailer. It had stairs down to a real basement lol. He dry camped exclusively before so a rig like that fit him perfectly.

Yeah you would pretty well be restricted to the Az desert

  • My nightmare would be having something like that on a caravan I was responsible for. I can just imagine trying to get it through Puerto Vallarta or someplace like that.
  • Obviously lots of marketing videos that have been stitched together. Looks like at the beginning the trailer has 3 axles with exposed wheels. By the end of the video the 3 axles have skirts down over the wheels. No doubt it is a big beautiful rig, but I am not sure really how useful it would be!
  • I saw a modified Kenilworth RV over $300,000.00, gorgeous but where would you park it.
  • I saw something similar at a USFS free campsite near Silverton, CO, a couple of years ago. Amazing.

  • That is amazing (except for orange headboard).

Is the entire interior by Foretravel?
  • I think a big field is about the only camping spot you would find big enough.
  • That's hilarious! They drive the rig out onto a dry weed infested FIELD, then open up the slide and show a beautiful countryside out the side windows. Lush green grass, trees etc. Wonder how fake the other "stuff" is :S

Leaving a bowl on the table while driving? Get serious!
