Has any one tried to use 2 memory foam topper one on top of the other As the only matress Gaetan

In my old pop up I replaced the dead mattress with 3 inches of custom cut high density foam topped with 2 inches of memory foam topper. Some of my most comfortable nights ever were on that combination. The key is having a firm base with some give and a moderately thick softer top layer with more give.
