Years ago we had a house build in a development that used to be a farm and all of our neighbors had field mice...except for us. Our new house backs up to woods and we had MANY dead mice in the walls when we gutted it, but haven't had one since we moved in 5 years ago. The only place we've gotten mice is our garage and a night with the cats fixes that quick!
Cats are about perfect predators and the only reason they haven't eaten me yet is because of my size.
