Doh! The complaint was tread separation or tred-sep. in the biz.I thought this was the winter tire I was looking at for Jeanie's 2011 Grand Chero. It's a 265/60R18. Her original Michelin tires have 64K miles and are done for winter treading and are useless for anything but dry pavement.
Back to the drawing board.

EDIT: The size above is an odd-ball size that only fits a few vehicles. After a lot of searching I found a Bridgestone tire of this size called Dueler A/T Revo 2, P265/60R18 which has a much more aggressive tread for winter driving. The Michelin equivilent LTX A/T 2 is rated at all season but with a much more street looking tread.
After talking to the guy at Costco Tire Dept. he said the recall only effects a certain size, of which my size wasn't the one. He said since they don't sell that size, they have not gotten any official recall from Michelin. It's a commercial tire not a P-rated tire.
