Gotta love these Michelin cracked tires claimers. Some people sure must not agree with these crack claimers or not smoking the same stuff because Michelin tire sales have increased each year like to the tune of a 10.6% increase in sales and a 18.2% increase in sales the last 2 years alone. Yup, the cracking is so bad that people are buying more and more of those tires year after year even as tire prices have increased dramatically during the same period. Must be that CRACKS are the "in" thing now! I feel left out as I've never seen any cracks develop on my over 2 dozen Michelins I've purchased. Must be some real "cracked" heads out there, ya think?
Happy for you and your two dozen Michelins. Ever stop and think that your experience isn't necessarily everyone's? You live in Northern Michigan, I believe and the climate is a lot different there than where I live. I wonder if the hot weather and likely more frequent sun exposure down here might have an effect on my tires that your tires aren't exposed to? The OEM Michelins on my '05 Ram were replaced due to significant sidewall cracking at 4 years of age at the recommendation of the local Michelin Dealer!
I like intelligent discussion and debate, but we can do without the condescension and snarky remarks directed at others whose experience may be different from your own. Just sayin'..................
Thomas, you are probably on to something here. I live in Tennessee where our weather can vary from below freezing to 90 plus in about 2 weeks. (like this year). Our summers are near 100% humidity. wonder why other brands don't seem to be as sensitive?
