I agree with Ford eating tires with the twin I-Beam suspension (They suck), but my last Super Duty could get between 40k - 60k miles on tires. These new Super Duty's if driven with a heavy foot eats tires!

I don't drive with a heavy foot and almost all my miles are highway with only about 1/3 my miles towing, but when I tow the loads can be a little on the heavy side. Most of the tire wear happens on the rear - I rotate the tires fairly regular so they all need replacing together.
