Mid 2000 Bunk, master and side slide options

Hey guys
Just sold my 98 wildwood 19 footer, good little camper but with 2nd kid coming in two weeks we need bigger!

Looking used and in the 13k and less range which priced around here is 2004-2007 years

26 feet queen or king bed with bunks and a side slide for space
Quads would be awesome but just not in our price range

Cpl I'm seeing is
2007 roo 25rs
2006 jayco
2006 gulf breeze

Any opinions or info on these. I read jayco had a felt type roof that was prone to leaks but not sure on what years...I've noticed few jayco ads say they were changed to rubber roof but I'm hesitant. Might have had some water come in already or why change it

I like the roo but only found one for 12k

Definitely more jayco around

Thanks guys

  • We'll we ended up picking up the roo. Trailer in decent shape Roof and walls inside and out all good no evidence of any water issues ever.

Roof does need to be caulked tho but looking into enterabond tape or just use a self leveller on top of old caulk basically fill in the cracks. Opinions welcome

Other then that good to go

Awning little weathered but that's minor. For us

    Ended up being a 2008
  • AHH! I usually look at where members are from. didn`t realize you were in Canada. Yes, I have heard of trailers going for big bucks, and the oil boom definitely isn`t helping. good luck in finding something.
  • Unfortunately in northern Alberta TT seem to be going for a premium due to oil workers using them instead of worker camps which cost them about 300$ a day to stay in

I just sold my 1998 wildwood 19ft for 6500$ It was gone 12 hours after listing on kijiji

Roo in question we agreed on 11k assuming inspection goes well
  • FWIW. when we tried selling our TT 2 years ago I had it listed at $13.5k. had a couple calls, but nothing serious. If I were to list it now I would be asking $12k. and it has 4 bunks, front bedroom and a superslide. so they are out there you just have to know where to look!
  • We'll we are going to go look at a 2007 roo 25rs tomorrow

Not sure if it classifies as a hybrid since hard slides but I do like the collapsible size of it!
  • Yea I had read a post from some guy saying mid 2000 jayco used TPO and to stay away , but this is the internet not always accurate!

Thanks for the clarification I know jayco has been in the game for a while and seem to have a decent product... There sure is a lot of then to pick around here. Heck of a lot 27bh. We are just hoping for simulate with dinette/couch slide
  • I think you are confused about a TPO roof. The TPO roof used by Jayco is a type of rubber roof that has a felt backing. As far as I knew, Jayco was still using the TPO roof. I could be wrong, I just never heard that they were not using TPO anymore. Some manufacturers like EPDM, some like TPO. You can argue all day long about which is better but they both have a 12 year gaurantee so it doesn't seem like the manufacturers like one over the other.
  • Only 27 and 28 footers on right now and a 25 but doesn't look like it has a dedicated master bed

I'll keep my eyes open for one thanks!
