Miles per tank-the tale of two fuels
I've been reading a lot here about the Dodge 6.4 and CTD. Both look promising for what I need/want. Can I get some averages of those have a 2014/15 of each, of miles to the tank of just daily driving?...

40k miles per year? Get the diesel. It will be worth far more in 5 years at 200k than the Gasser. And when fuel prices go up, you'll be singing to the bank.
Also, if you don't need a truck, I highly recommend a Passat TDI. 700-900 miles per tank, 40-50mpg.
