mirrors for 2017 ford expedition

Although they have provided a great tow package with a tow capacity of 9,200 lbs., Ford does not offer or make extendable trailer mirrors for their 2017 Expedition. I can't believe it!. Anybody out there with a solution would be greatly appreciated.
  • I have an Expedition so have had the same search as you. If you are thinking slip-on, the F150 options don't fit and there is no custom one for the Expy. Because of the mirror shape I found the universal ones don't hold well and also bounce all over the place. I ended up going with McKesh mirrors. They look ugly but work extremely well, and once you set them they are easy to remove and install as needed.

If you are thinking permanent, Trail Ridge makes trailer mirrors that fit mine, but it is an 08. Not sure if they have something as current as 17, but worth a look.

There also is a guy who did his own work using F150 towing mirrors, but again was the same vintage as mine:

  • I have an F150 with tow package but no tow specific mirrors. I got some clip on ones (not the ones that use the straps cuz those stink) that clip onto the entire mirror from behind. They we're about 40 bucks for a pair on amazon. Custom for my year/make/model. They stay in place, look OEM, don't wiggle, and don't make noise. Most people are surprised that they are add ons when they see me take them off.

Check the parts books. My guess the door skins are the same. If so 250/350 mirrora should bolt right on.

    This.

A friend got some F250 mirrors from a junkyard for his F150... the big rectangular kind that stick way out. Great for towing.
