Modifying the plumbing.

I have a 75 Terry TT.

Right now, the drains drain to the holding tank and then out. I am not using the holding tank now. I do not want to use it ever.

I plan to remove the bathroom fixtures. I want to run the kitchen sink into the ground.

So, to do this: Can I just cut the pipe going to the tank and direct it into the ground? The other drains have vents. Can I just cap the pipes at the roof, or must I remove it and repair the roof?

The trailer will not be moved anywhere anytime soon and there is no issue with grey water going directly to the ground.

I can't imagine living in a TT where the gray water is just dumped to the ground underneath it. That's going to be some cesspool after a while. Good luck with it.

X1, gray water dumped on the ground under the trailer will end up stinking and creating bad orders inside your trailer! If you are determined to dump gray water under the trailer, then strongly suggest you drain into a pipe i.e. PVC which dumps at least 20' away from the trailer, like a leach line in effect.

I was planning on digging down a good 2 -3 feet and have a holey pipe that the sink drains into.
  • Just cap it. No need to mess around with repairing your roof...

    Wow....
Anyway, if they let you, I would tend to agree with leave the vents and gut what you don't want.....

What do I do about those pesky little vents for the vent pipes? Leaving them as is will mean that the mosquitoes will visit me. I could throw some screening up.

Just cap them. you can get Plugs/caps at any plumbing supply house or Lowes, etc, and they are as cheap or cheaper than screening

    I cant see how.

I have no use for the tub while camping. I do not need the shower. I do not use the toilet or the holding tank. The little sink in the bathroom is also useless.
  • You should just hook up a permanent sewer hose to your outlet pipe. Then you will preserve your ability to move it.

I will have the pipe from the trailer easily separated from the ground. I will also have what is in the ground completely removable.
