plenty off shade. if you get a chance to look at the picture link you will see what i mean. this place is heavily wooded.
as far as kids....that is NO problem. i will have my soon to be 7 year old with us. we will do a craft thing on one of the days for the kids that are there too. we did that for the 2012 rally. one of the reasons why i set this up for the summer is so kids can come.
the campground is dog friendly too.
