Thanks for having this thread floating around......when it pops back up to the top of my unread subscriptions it always makes me smile and look forward to July. This is going to be fun. I've taken my wife on Trail of the Ceders 3 times now but we've not made the hike to Avalanche Lake together. I last did it as a kid and can't wait because it is beautiful.
Here's a shot of my dad, literally 4 days after a chemo treatment on Trail of the Ceders. It was his favorite National Park and even very sick he couldn't pass up the chance to meet us while he had the chance....How can I pass it up when he wouldn't despite chemo? .
