thats great. like your dad, i love glacier. ive been there numerous times and i never get tired of it. i have done the avalanche lake hike many times too. it never is the same. sometimes there is more water flowing in all the waterfalls, sometimes drier. last year when we did the hike we went through an avalanche area where it blew a bunch of trees down. so you had views of the mountains that you could not see through the trees in years past. its just always changing.
ive still got lots more hiking to check off my list in that park.
im always excited to go to glacier.
