The first time through withg our current camper/truck my wife road through on the rear ladder of the camper and spoke to me into the mic on the rear view camera. Our height at that point in time was 13'2" according to the original owner.....and you never know about extra layers of asphalt. We made it through no problem (and since lowered the AC so we are now at 12'8.5".) Plenty of room to spare now...... But I have read of some with the big Yakima racks on their TC's pushing them up into the 13' - 13'6" range.
