as of right now....22 people are wanting to do the avalanche hike on Saturday morning. there is limited parking at the trail head so if some of us can "truck pool" that would help. it is earlier in the morning so we still should be okay. just something to think about.
the hike is a go rain or shine. the only thing that will cancel the ranger lead hike is lightening or heavy bear activity on the trail.
this is one of the best books I have found on trails in glacier. so if you are a hiker this book is my suggestion to you. we hope to get several miles of hiking in before the start of the rally
